Vaidyan Naanu Ashaan, a doyen in the field of Ayurveda, started "Naanu Ashaan Vaidyasala" in 1947 at varandarapilly, Thrissur. He started his mission with a philosphy to promote the richness of Ayurveda Tradition by providing quality treatment and medicines to mankind in the field of Visha Chikitsa and Bala Chikitsa.He utilized the astrology tradition in the family and applied astrology in Ayurveda for identifying the prognosis of diseases and better results in treatment. After demise of Naanu Ashaan in 2008,his daughter in law Dr.Sarala Venu continued the legacy and tradition by introducing a production unit called "Anjaly Ayurvedics" for providing pure ayurvedic medicines to patients. She follows Naanu Ashaan's tradition of blending astrology and ayurveda with the help of her husband Venu PP the famous astrologer. Anjaly Ayurvedics and Naanu Ashaan Vaidyasala credited with pioneering the concept of following Naanu Ashaan's ayurvedic treatment and dispensing pure ayurvedic medicines for the well being and prosperity of people.

A New begining in the clinical and production field has been started in Naanu Ashaan's vaidyasala by Dr.Sarala Venu with her daughter in law Dr.Megha Danesh.
